Singapore travel guide for Indians (2026)
The one destination on this list where Indians still need a visa in advance — and the easiest city in Asia once you land.
Visa and entry for Indian passport holders
Visa required · apply before travelIndian passport holders need a Singapore visa before travel. There is no visa on arrival.
- Applications go through ICA-authorised visa agents in India (or a Singapore-based sponsor). Tripido submits it for you as part of the package; allow 3–5 working days.
- Typical stay granted is 30 days; the visa is usually multiple-entry and valid for up to 2 years, at the officer's discretion.
- Passport valid 6 months with a blank page, recent photo, return ticket, hotel booking and bank statement.
- SG Arrival Card is filled online within 3 days of arrival — separate from the visa.
Best time to visit Singapore
February to April is the driest stretch; the city works year-round because everything indoors is air-conditioned.
November to January is the wettest — short, heavy afternoon downpours rather than washed-out days.

Questions we get asked about Singapore
Do Indians need a visa for Singapore?
Yes, applied for in advance through an ICA-authorised agent — there is no visa on arrival for Indian passports. We handle the application with your booking; allow 3–5 working days.
How much does a Singapore trip cost from India?
Our 4-night package (Sentosa, the zoo and a city tour) starts at ₹44,900 per person. Flights from Delhi were about ₹39,300 return in a November 2026 sample. Singapore is expensive on the ground — budget ₹5,000–8,000 a day — so ₹1.1–1.3 lakh per person for 5 days is realistic.
Best time to visit Singapore?
Any month; February to April is driest. Avoid the F1 weekend in September unless you are going for it.
Is Singapore good for kids?
It is the easiest family destination in Asia: Sentosa, the zoo and Night Safari, Gardens by the Bay, and safe, clean public transport. Our package is built around exactly those.
Can I combine Singapore with Malaysia or a cruise?
Yes — Kuala Lumpur is a 1-hour flight or a 5-hour coach, and cruises to Penang, Phuket or Bali sail from Singapore. See our Singapore cruise getaway.
