Visa and entry for Indian passport holders
Visa on arrival · 30 daysIndian passport holders get a 30-day Visa on Arrival (VoA) in Bali, extendable once to 60 days.
- VoA costs IDR 500,000 (about ₹2,700) per person, paid at the airport or online in advance as an e-VoA on the official immigration portal.
- Separately, the Bali Tourist Levy of IDR 150,000 (about ₹800) is paid online before or on arrival.
- All Indonesia Arrival Card (AIAC) must be completed online before travel — a third, separate step from the visa and the levy.
- Passport valid 6 months with two blank pages, return ticket, and hotel booking.
Best time to visit Bali
April to October — the dry season. May, June and September give the best weather with fewer crowds than July–August.
December to February is the wet season: heavy afternoon rain, rough seas for Nusa Penida crossings.

Getting there
Air India flies Delhi–Denpasar direct (about 8 hours). IndiGo connects via Bengaluru; most other fares route through Kuala Lumpur, Singapore or Bangkok with a 2–4 hour stop. Denpasar (DPS) is the only airport; Ubud is 90 minutes by road, Seminyak 30 minutes.

Do Indians need a visa for Bali?
Yes, a Visa on Arrival — IDR 500,000 (about ₹2,700), valid 30 days, extendable once. You can also apply online in advance as an e-VoA. The Bali tourist levy and the Indonesia arrival card are separate, both mandatory.
Best time to visit Bali from India?
April to October, the dry season. If you want the best balance of weather, price and crowds, aim for May, June or September.
How much does a Bali trip cost from India?
Our 6-night Ubud + Seminyak land package starts at ₹38,900 per person. Add flights (a Delhi sample in November 2026 was ₹55,000 with a stop, ₹65,000 direct), about ₹3,500 in visa and levy, and ₹2,000–3,500 a day for meals — around ₹1.1–1.3 lakh per person for a week.
Is Bali good for a honeymoon?
It is our most-booked honeymoon destination: private-pool villas in Ubud and Seminyak, quiet resorts in Uluwatu, and easy day trips. Ask for the honeymoon variant of the package.
Which side of Bali should we stay on?
Ubud for rice terraces, temples and a slower pace; Seminyak or Canggu for beach, cafés and nightlife; Uluwatu for cliffs and surf. Our standard package splits nights between Ubud and Seminyak so you see both.
