Questions we get asked about Rajasthan

Best time to visit Rajasthan?

October to March. Avoid April–June heat. The monsoon months are workable for Udaipur, which turns green, but not for the desert.

How much does a Rajasthan trip cost?

Our 6-night Jaipur–Jodhpur–Jaisalmer–Udaipur package starts at ₹29,900 per person with a private car and a desert-camp night. Add transport to Jaipur and ₹1,200–2,200 a day.

Which cities should a first-timer cover?

Jaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer and Udaipur in that order — it is the natural road loop and each city is a different colour and character. Pushkar or Ranthambore can be added with an extra day.

Can I stay in a palace?

Yes — heritage hotels in converted havelis and palaces are the point of Rajasthan. We use them where the budget allows; ask for the heritage upgrade.
