Indian passport holders enter Malaysia visa-free for up to 30 days, under an exemption currently extended to 31 December 2026.

  • Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) must be submitted online within 3 days before arrival — it is checked at immigration.
  • Passport valid 6 months, return ticket, proof of accommodation and funds.

Getting there

Direct flights to Kuala Lumpur from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi and Kolkata, mostly 4–5.5 hours. Two terminals at KLIA — check which one your airline uses. KL to Langkawi or Penang is a 1-hour hop we include in the package.

Best time to visit Malaysia from India?

March to September for the west coast (KL, Penang, Langkawi). If you want the east-coast islands, go April to September.

Is Malaysia good for vegetarians?
