Best time to visit Malaysia
March to September for Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Langkawi (the west coast).
November to January is monsoon on the east coast (Perhentian, Redang islands close); the west coast just gets afternoon showers.

Getting there
Direct flights to Kuala Lumpur from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi and Kolkata, mostly 4–5.5 hours. Two terminals at KLIA — check which one your airline uses. KL to Langkawi or Penang is a 1-hour hop we include in the package.

Do Indians need a visa for Malaysia?
No — visa-free for up to 30 days, under an exemption that currently runs to 31 December 2026. You must submit the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card online within 3 days of arrival.
Best time to visit Malaysia from India?
March to September for the west coast (KL, Penang, Langkawi). If you want the east-coast islands, go April to September.
How much does a Malaysia trip cost?
Our 5-night KL + Langkawi package starts at ₹27,900 per person. Flights from Delhi were about ₹42,400 return in a November 2026 sample. Budget ₹85,000–95,000 per person for 6 days.
Is Malaysia good for vegetarians?
Excellent — Little India in KL and Penang, plus Chinese vegetarian restaurants. Halal food is the default, so no pork or lard in most places.
