Best time to visit Kashmir
March to May for tulips and blossom; September to November for autumn chinar colour; December to February for snow and Gulmarg skiing. July–August is pleasant too (25°C) while the plains bake.
No bad month for weather. Check the Amarnath Yatra dates (July–August) — Pahalgam gets crowded and roads restricted.

Getting there
Direct flights to Srinagar from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chandigarh and more; Delhi–Srinagar is under 90 minutes and often ₹6,000–12,000 return. By road it is 12+ hours from Jammu via the tunnel. Our 5-night package starts at Srinagar airport.

Questions we get asked about Kashmir
Is Kashmir safe for tourists?
Tourist areas — Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Sonamarg — have hosted record visitor numbers in recent years. Follow local advice, keep to the standard circuit, and let us know your dates so we can flag any advisories.
Best time to visit Kashmir?
Depends on what you want: tulips in April, snow in January, chinar colour in October, cool summer in July. Every season sells.
How much does a Kashmir trip cost?
Our 5-night Srinagar–Gulmarg–Pahalgam package starts at ₹22,900 per person with a houseboat night, private car and Gulmarg gondola. Add flights (usually ₹6,000–12,000 from Delhi) and ₹1,000–2,000 a day.
Does the Gulmarg gondola run in summer?
Yes, both phases, weather permitting. Phase 2 to Apharwat has snow even in June. Tickets are capped daily — we pre-book them.
