Visa and entry for Indian passport holders
Visa required · on arrival for someMost Indian passport holders need a UAE tourist visa arranged before travel; a 14-day visa on arrival is available only to those holding a valid US, UK, EU, Canada or Australia visa or residence.
- Visa on arrival: Indian passport valid 6 months plus a valid visa or green card / residence permit from the US, UK, EU (Schengen), Canada or Australia, itself valid 6 months. 14 days, extendable once.
- Everyone else: a 30- or 60-day tourist visa issued electronically through an airline, hotel or licensed agent. Tripido arranges it with your booking; allow 3–5 working days.
- Return ticket and hotel booking are required. Passport must have at least 6 months validity.
Best time to visit Dubai
November to March — 24–30°C, outdoor everything: desert safaris, beaches, the fountain, Global Village.
June to August is 40–45°C with high humidity. Doable if you plan indoor days, and hotels are half price, but not the Dubai most people want.

Getting there
Direct flights to Dubai from nearly every Indian metro, 3–4.5 hours, plus Sharjah and Abu Dhabi as cheaper alternatives 30–60 minutes away by road. Our package includes airport transfers from Dubai International (DXB).

Questions we get asked about Dubai
Do Indians need a visa for Dubai?
Yes. If you hold a valid US, UK, Schengen, Canadian or Australian visa or residence, you get a 14-day visa on arrival. Otherwise a 30-day tourist visa is arranged electronically before travel — we do this with your booking.
How much does a Dubai trip cost from India?
Our 4-night package starts at ₹36,900 per person with Burj Khalifa, desert safari, marina cruise and city tour. Flights from Delhi were about ₹35,600 return in a November 2026 sample. Dubai is pricey on the ground, so budget ₹1.0–1.2 lakh per person for 5 days including the visa.
Best month for Dubai?
November to March. December–January is peak; February and early March are the sweet spot for weather and price.
Is Dubai good for families?
Very. Theme parks, aquariums, beaches, the desert safari — and Indian food everywhere. Most attractions have child pricing under 12.
Can I drink alcohol in Dubai?
Yes, in licensed venues (hotel bars, restaurants, clubs). Not in public places. Sharjah is dry.
