Day by day
- Day 1Arrive in Kochi, drive to Munnar
Airport pickup and the four-hour drive up through the spice country, stopping at the Cheeyappara waterfalls.
- Day 2Munnar
The tea museum, Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Top Station. Tea estates everywhere.
- Day 3Munnar to Thekkady
Drive to Thekkady. Afternoon boat on Periyar Lake, and a spice plantation walk.
- Day 4Thekkady to Alleppey
Board the houseboat by noon. Cruise the backwaters with lunch, dinner and the night on board.
- Day 5Alleppey to Kochi
Disembark after breakfast. Fort Kochi: the Chinese fishing nets, St Francis church, Mattancherry palace and the Jew Town spice street.
- Day 6Fly home
Transfer to Kochi airport.
