Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1
Land in Kochi, climb to Munnar
- Arrive at Cochin International Airport and drive to Munnar by private vehicle.
- Stop at Valara Falls or Cheeyappara Falls on the way.
- Check in, then visit Hydel Park in the evening. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 2
Tea gardens and viewpoints
- Breakfast at the hotel, then a full day around Munnar.
- Tea Museum and Eravikulam National Park, home to the Nilgiri Tahr.
- Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, Echo Point, View Point and the tea gardens.
- The local market in the evening. Overnight in Munnar.

Day 3
Into the spice hills of Thekkady
- After breakfast, drive to Thekkady by private vehicle and check in.
- Periyar Tiger Reserve and the Periyar Lake area. Boat safari tickets are not included.
- The spice market in the evening. Overnight in Thekkady.

Day 4
Backwater cruise on a houseboat
- After breakfast, drive to the boat jetty at Alleppey.
- Board a traditional houseboat and cruise the Kerala backwaters, with all meals on board.
- Overnight on the houseboat.

Day 5
Fort Kochi heritage tour
- After breakfast, drive to Kochi by private vehicle.
- Half-day sightseeing: Chinese fishing nets, St Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica, the Jewish Synagogue and Mattancherry Palace.
- Marine Drive, then back to the hotel. Overnight in Kochi.

Marari Beach, then home
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Marari Beach, then on to Cochin International Airport for the evening flight.
- IndiGo 6E-2127 leaves Kochi at 21:40 for Delhi.
