Questions about this trip
What is included in the 5-night Kashmir package?
The land price covers 5 nights: 1 in a deluxe houseboat, 4 in 3–4★ hotels, with breakfast and dinner; Private vehicle throughout; Shikara ride on Dal Lake; Airport pickup and drop. Everything in that list is confirmed in writing on your itinerary before you pay anything.
What is not included in the price?
Not included: Flights to Srinagar (quoted live for your dates); Gondola tickets and local taxis at Pahalgam (union rules); Travel insurance; Lunches; Tips, personal expenses and anything not listed above. We publish exclusions as prominently as inclusions, so there is nothing left to discover at the hotel counter.
Is ₹22,900 per person, and does it include flights from Hyderabad?
₹22,900 is per person on twin sharing — two people sharing one room — and it is the land price only. Flights are not in it. We quote the airfare live from Hyderabad (Rajiv Gandhi International, HYD) for your own dates and show it as a separate line, so you can see exactly what each part of the trip costs instead of one bundled number. Travelling alone costs more, because of the single-occupancy supplement.
How long is the journey from Hyderabad to Kashmir?
About 3h in the air from Hyderabad (Rajiv Gandhi International). The route is flown non-stop, so there is no connection to miss. Non-stops to Srinagar on most days; otherwise via Delhi. Exact timings depend on the airline and the day you fly, and we confirm them with your quote.
Do I need a visa for Kashmir?
No. Kashmir is in India, so an Indian passport holder needs no visa and no entry permit. Carry a government photo ID — hotels are required to see one at check-in. Full details, with the official source, are in our Kashmir guide.
When is the best time to visit Kashmir?
March to May for tulips and blossom; September to November for autumn chinar colour; December to February for snow and Gulmarg skiing. July–August is pleasant too (25°C) while the plains bake. No bad month for weather. Check the Amarnath Yatra dates (July–August) — Pahalgam gets crowded and roads restricted. We run this trip year round and will tell you honestly if your dates fall in the wrong season. Full details, with the official source, are in our Kashmir guide.
Can we change this itinerary?
Yes. This is a starting point, not a fixed departure. Tell us your dates, how many of you are travelling and what you actually want to see, and we rebuild it — more nights, a different hotel grade, a different order, or a city added. You get a written day-by-day itinerary and an itemised price before you pay anything, and a quotation is not a booking.
How do we book, and what do we pay up front?
Call or WhatsApp us and we send a written itinerary and quote. To confirm, you pay a booking deposit, with the balance due by the date shown on your proposal — the schedule depends on the destination and on how far ahead you book, because hotels and airlines set their own deadlines. A booking made close to departure is payable in full at confirmation. The exact amounts and dates are always written on your proposal before you pay anything, and the full booking conditions are published.
