    Arrive in Paro, drive to Thimphu

    Met at Paro airport and driven to the capital, about an hour. Evening walk in Thimphu.

  2. Day 2
    Thimphu

    The Buddha Dordenma, the Memorial Chorten, the takin reserve, the Tashichho Dzong at closing time.

  3. Day 3
    Over Dochula to Punakha

    The 108 chortens at Dochula pass, then Punakha Dzong at the meeting of the two rivers, and the suspension bridge.

  4. Day 4
    Punakha to Paro

    Back over the pass to Paro. Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum in the afternoon.

  5. Day 5
    Tiger's Nest

    The hike to Taktsang monastery — four to five hours round trip, with a cafeteria stop halfway. Farewell dinner.

  6. Day 6
    Fly home

    Transfer to Paro airport.
