Flying from Bengaluru
Getting to Bhutan from Bengaluru
Via Delhi or Kolkata to Paro, or fly Bagdogra and enter by road at Phuentsholing. Also convenient for travellers from Mysuru and Hosur.

Day by day
- Day 1Arrive in Paro, drive to Thimphu
Met at Paro airport and driven to the capital, about an hour. Evening walk in Thimphu.
- Day 2Thimphu
The Buddha Dordenma, the Memorial Chorten, the takin reserve, the Tashichho Dzong at closing time.
- Day 3Over Dochula to Punakha
The 108 chortens at Dochula pass, then Punakha Dzong at the meeting of the two rivers, and the suspension bridge.
- Day 4Punakha to Paro
Back over the pass to Paro. Rinpung Dzong and the National Museum in the afternoon.
- Day 5Tiger's Nest
The hike to Taktsang monastery — four to five hours round trip, with a cafeteria stop halfway. Farewell dinner.
- Day 6Fly home
Transfer to Paro airport.
